Description
The offseason has begun for Vanderbilt baseball.
With the Commodores losing in the Clemson Regional, the transfer portal is open for business. Players are able to enter the portal until July 2 and will be eligible to play immediately at their new destinations. They do not have to commit to schools until the fall semester begins, which at Vanderbilt is Aug. 21.
Four players have exhausted all of their college eligibility with the Commodores: catchers Jack Bulger and Alan Espinal, and outfielders Troy LaNeve and Calvin Hewett.
Here's who will be leaving and joining Vanderbilt baseball via the transfer portal:

Hliboki entered the portal on June 6, according to D1Baseball. He spent five seasons at Vanderbilt, earning a bullpen role right away as a freshman in 2020. He suffered a season-ending injury that year and missed all of 2022 after undergoing Tommy John surgery.
Hliboki returned for a successful 2023 in which he went 3-3 with a 4.88 ERA and started games in both the SEC tournament and the regional. However, his fifth season with the program didn't go according to plan. Hliboki put up a 9.64 ERA in 13 appearances, most of which came in low-leverage situations.
He has one year of eligibility remaining.
Kodali entered the portal on June 6, according to D1Baseball. In two seasons at Vanderbilt, the outfielder from New York City never appeared in a game.
He has three years of eligibility remaining.
